Keira Boertzel-Smith’s cut paper art scenes will be on display in a solo show at Studio Montclair’s Block Gallery during the month of May. “The People I Have Seen. The People I Have Been.” is a collection of whimsical people-centered pieces in which Keira has been an observer or acting participant. This collection of work is very personal to Keira, who views each piece in the collection as a page from her visual diary. Creating these pieces allowed her to emotionally process certain key moments in life that had deep meaning. The Block Gallery is located at the Clark House, 108 Orange Road, in Montclair. The gallery is open Tuesday through Thursday, 11 am to 3 pm, or by appointment.
